Reasoning-Tests.com
have
5 numerical reasoning tests and 2
verbal reasoning tests that can be accessed.
In total there are 650 questions.
Each test has 25 questions and the time
available to go through
is 22 minutess. It is adviced
that a calculator would not be used when
taking the numerical reasoning tests. It is
possible to work out the solutions without
one and this allows the test
taker to see how good
reasoning skills
actually are..
Evaluation
There are no strict guidelines to
the evaluation of the test results but the test
taker can use our table below. These scores should
be used just as an indication of the test takers
numerical and verbal abilities.
Score
Interpretation
21 - 25
Very good. The test taker has
very good reasoning skills and is in general
very fast in doing calculations and analyzing
text. Excellent.
18 - 21
Good. The test taker has good
reasoning skills and is in general very fast in
doing calculations and analyzing text. The test
taker is doing very well.
15 - 18
Good. The test taker has good
reasoning skills and is in general fairly fast
in doing calculations and analyzing text. Most
test takers would fall in this category.
10 - 15
OK especially if scoring closer
to 14. The test taker has ok reasoning skills
and is in general fairly fast in doing
calculations and analyzing text. The result is
though not especially strong and the
administrator has to look at the applicants
other credentials before making up their mind.
0 - 10
The score is poor and indicates
that the candidate is not very strong
numerically or verbally depending on the test
taken. It is up to the test administrator to
decide if a poor score is a problem or not. A
poor score in both numerical and verbal
reasoning tests should be though taken into
account when making that final decision to hire
or not.
Taking the Test
Taking the test is easy and the
tests can be accessed whenever the test taker wants
to. The first thing to do is to have a computer with
internet preferably in a quiet area. This will allow
the test taker to concentrate on the test and not on
the distractions surrounding him/her. The test taker
should not use a calculator unless he/she
specifically wants one. The test taker should be
allowed to relax for a moment before taking the
test.
When the test taker is ready they
can log into the test that they choose and once
logged in the test taker should type in their name
and press BEGIN. The test will give you a notice
that it is about to start and that you have 22
minutes time to answer as many questions as you can.
When you press OK the test will start and so does
the timer. The timer can be seen at
the
bottom left on the status bar. The timer can not be
stopped so it is important that the test taker is
allowed the full 22 minutes to go through the
answers.
When the test taker has answered a
question they should press NEXT to get to the next
question. When the test taker comes to the 25th
question (which is the last one) they can either
press BACK to go back to questions that they might
have left without an answer or that they would like
to check one more time. If the test taker does not
want to go back or if they have finished their test,
then they can press SUBMIT. Once they have pressed
SUBMIT the test ends and it is no longer possible to
go back to the questions. The test takes you
automatically to the results page where you can see
the questions and the correct and the wrong answers
that the test taker gave. The results page can be
printed. This same process applies to both numerical
and verbal reasoning tests.
